There is no trail to this summit.  Take Hwy 20 East from Burlington.  3 miles after the town of Concrete turn left on a logging road marked "Jackman Creek Road".  Follow this road for approx 11 miles to (N48.57127 W121.63747).  This can be accomplished by staying on the main road and not taking any spurs (most are gated) This waypoint is actually about 100 yards up a spur road.  Continue past this waypoint up the spur road where it will terminate in a gravel pit in approx. 1/4 mile. During summer months a 4WD vehicle is not necessary.

We parked in the gravel pit, walked up a short overgrown road on the east side of the gravel pit.  From there we began hiking NE bushwhacking up a forested ridgeline towards the summit at (N48.57570 W121.62830), the trip is steep and densely forested but only about 1/4 mile.

On a clear day you be treated to a beautiful view of Mt. Baker and have a nice grassy knoll to operate from.

We returned to the gravel pit and made camp, dining on venison and enjoyed a restful night of sleep.  See trip report of W7W/SK-115 for the rest of the story.

Activated Sept 21st, 2012.
