SOTA Activities

Strictly a chaser. Located at 950 feet on Chehalem Ridge in Yamhill County behind Newberg, Oregon. My height above average terrain is just over 500 feet. Radio is normally a Kenwood TM-D710G. The antenna is a Diamond X700 vertical mounted on my garage. 99% of the time I only need to use 5 watts.

I have made two contacts at 116 miles and one at 171 miles.
