Mount Gauldy is an easy summit near Hebo Oregon
It is either a drive up or a road walk of at most 3.5mi RT and 600ft elevation gain.
To get there go to Highway 22 and turn onto FR 15 at 45.21373, -123.84866.
NF 15 is good Priusable gravel to 45.16745, -123.85124 which is the turn onto
FR 115 which goes to the summit. The surface is good and the slope is reasonable, however, the op will need the right vehicle to get to the top without a hike. My correct vehicle was a Rav4 which was just able to navigate the frequent and relatively deep water bars. These would have been not even a distraction in my former F150 4x4. However, it would have been stopped by a log across the road which the Rav was able to limbo under (after removing my 2M mobile antenna). The road is easily in the AZ for a while, so plenty of opportunities for whatever antenna set up is favored. No views from summit.
